Today i am going to talk about a guy here on MySpace who is a very good musician and an excellent writer of music. He has been at this for a long time and he is an indie, which means he independently produces his own cd's and is no longer connected to a label. Or at least thats what I have been told. I went to see him at Lestat's on the 12th of February and it was a great show my friend who had me tag along for my first forray into Gregory. Didn't tell me he was a witty personality as well so he really puts on a good show. If you ever get a chance to go see him....Do it. you won't be disappointed. His songs are a rock folk something like James Taylor in style but I like him better than James Taylor who only had a few songs I liked by him although he too was an excellent writer (just had a problem with his voice) but I don't have a problem with Gregory's voice he has a very clear and crisp sound and it is a pleasing and soothing voice. His Tagline is: "Music The Way God Intended It To Be" You can find his professional website at: http://www.gregorypage.com/ you can find his MySapce site by looking on my friends section and both places you will find examples of his music. Now he has a lot of music and my favorites are : "Sleeping Dogs", a new one called "Big Surprise" which he said would be on his next album. Other favs are "Love Made Me Drunk", "Always", "Troubled Skies" and "Clems Last Fishing Trip",. There are many more favorites I have and I haven't listened to all of it yet I am still working on it. Most of his stuff is slower paced and acoustical which is a drastic difference in the kind of stuff I normally listen too, like "Disturbed", Metallica, and Limp Bizkit but my musical tastes have always been eclectic. I just like what I like, I like whats good and Gregory page is good. Check him out its worth it. Fork me I'm done
Ciao
